Things seemed dumb. I asked her if she was happy. She didn't say anything. So I spoke for a while, and I thought we'd broken up.

We talk when I got home. We agreed, we're both sometimes stupid. We are still happy.

I like her.

Yes James. This will sound girlish too you. Deal.

In the last two months, I've gotten healthy again. It's really cool. Mostly you can drink more, and bang longer. Yep, 'tis true. Try it. There's some other reasons, like heart and lungs and such, but they aren't as fun to say.

And I am completely smitten with Eva dear...she's great.

Working 45 hours a week, bringing in the bacon I'll need for the fall in Toronto, living in a place with Ashley.

Time for Boston Pizza with Mom, for pasta Tuesday.

Life is fantastic.

Saw her again this weekend, a good date. A good night.

Something started, no doubt of that.

I'm grinning.

I decided I've lost something that I considered precious. It was my knowledge of the night sky. When I was young, I knew the stars very well, I could pick out most of the constellations in the sky, and tell you the stars in them. I was fascinated by them.

Three dimensional models of space still make me drool.

So I've poked through some charts...glanced over pictures and such...and I intend to be outside more in the night refreshing my mind on what I used to know. Because I used to instinctively pick them out. I want it back. It was a rarity. When I look up, I want to see more than bright dots.

I want to see more.

I went to Toronto last night with Tyler, and we watched "300" in IMAX for free, we just needed some Myspace printout. Whichever, that works for me.

Standing in line can be very dumb though. Good thing I have good books.

I'm still here.

I made my best crust yet today. Like 20 minutes ago. That cherry pie is killer.

I have lived in Grimsby again almost as long as I lived in Toronto.

I have very fond memories of December last year. And January. They were the most tumultuous, and yet exciting, months for me. It was a wonderful time to be young and live with your best friends and make our own lives.

When it's cold, and my mp3 player plays "Ready Steady Go", Bas comes unbidden to me mind. I haven't seen her since May. A longer time than I actually lived with and befriended her. But she's another person I will cherish, and the memories we made.

Sigh.

I miss her.

Eh.

Nothing fabulous, nothing dismal. Just...eh. A rather neutral life for the moment.

I have fucked up dreams, more and more. There was a haunted house, where I knew the point of the dream was to enter the house again and again, until haunted forces killed me. What did I do?

I went back inside. A haunted cat got me.

And note to self...always, always, always hands off that which is off-limits.

Great weekend at the debate. A-team was everything I'd dreamed since I was 15, and more. Put another notch on the belt.

Tired from some more overnights. Eh. McBride is going to get info on how I can apply properly to schools.

I'm going to the Superstore now, to see if I can play a Nintendo Wii.
